Irving Texas Astro Drive In Movie Theater at www.pinballrebel.com
I saw them bulldoze the Astro in the spring of 1999. It was the last Drive In in the DFW area. The land was worth way too much money for it to remain a drive in. In fact, it is very suprising that it made it as long as it did. It once boasted the biggest outdoor screen in North America. The equipment was sold at auction. May she rest in peace.
The numerous ticket booths & lanes once saw very busy nights.
