Step by step mounting instructions using Williams - Fire Power.
Turn off the game.
Some connectors are removed for clarity.
First locate the large capacitor and the two bridge rectifiers.
Disconnect the two plugs with wires leading to the power
supply.
Loosen the screws from the bridge rectifiers and the big capacitor and remove
them from the back box.
Cut all the wires at the components, but not at the connectors.
This is what has been taken out of the back box.
This is what it looks like with the wires cut and components
removed.
I have moved the GI fuses about 4cm to the left to create
space for the Bridge Board.
This is a nice place for the Bridge Board.
You can use the old screws to mount the new board.
Connect the wires to the appropriate connection. (see pdf
file)
This is the ground connection to the power supply and the purple wire (18VDC)
This is the connector with two more ground wires and the
orange and blue wires (34VDC).
This orange and blue wire were together at the old bridge rectifier!
They also connect to the rectangle connector for the power supply.
Connect the two red wires to the 2-pin connector and the blue to the 3-pin
connector.
As an extra I connected a ground wire to the back plate of the back box.
This is what is looks like with all connectors in place.
Connect the remaining two connectors the power supply.
Turn on the game.
LED's are lit. Everything is finished now. Ready to play!
